Chapel Hill, NC, USA (03 June 2015) – CROS NT today announced the launch of a summer fitness challenge campaign, the #CROSNTFit Challenge, to raise awareness for cancer prevention and the World Cancer Research Fund, the world’s leading authority on the link between diet, weight, physical activity and cancer by providing ground-breaking research and policy on preventable cancer.
About the #CROSNTFit Campaign
The #CROSNTFit summer challenge encourages daily physical activity and asks people to post fitness tips, including workout summaries and photos, to social media websites using the hashtag #CROSNTFit and the best tip every month from June through August will win a FitBit Fitness Tracker.
CROS NT is initiating the summer-long campaign at the DIA 51st Annual Meeting taking place June 14-18th in Washington, DC. Exhibiting at Booth #1111, CROS NT is once again raising funds for World Cancer Research Fund, its 2015-sponsored non-profit organization, by donating $3 USD for every badge scanned or business card collected at the conference.
CROS NT CEO, Andrew MacGarvey, who is attending the DIA Annual Meeting in Washington DC, said, “CROS NT has been supporting WCRF all year by promoting the link between physical activity and preventable cancer. We’ve had individual employees step up and run and raise funds for WCRF this year. We are committed to this great cause and hope that by posing this challenge to industry colleagues, we can further raise awareness of WCRF.”
